Community guidelines

Words can lift people up. These standards help keep Inspoetry a welcoming place to discover and share them.

Effective 24 October 2026

What belongs here

Share uplifting music discoveries with a thoughtful explanation. Credit the artist and song accurately. Do not submit harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, threats, encouragement of self-harm, spam or content that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not impersonate another person. These rules apply to profiles as well as discoveries.

Review before publication

Submitted discoveries stay private and pending until reviewed by an administrator. Local analysis may help identify context and meaning, but it does not approve or publish a submission. We may reject or withdraw material that breaks these rules.

Report a concern

Use the three-dot menu on a discovery or profile and select Report. Choose a reason and optionally add details. Reporting is available without an account. Reports enter a private moderation queue; we do not publish reporter identities. We review concerns as promptly as possible and prioritise threats and serious safety concerns. For support, contact privacy@inspoetry.com.

Block someone

Open the three-dot menu on their profile to block them. Their profile and discoveries credited only to blocked people are hidden for you. A shared discovery may remain when other contributors are still visible. Signed-in blocking stops follows in both directions. Guest blocks apply on that device. Manage and undo blocks in Settings → Safety & blocked people.

Moderation and appeals

Administrators can remove a discovery, suspend an account or dismiss a report. Suspended accounts cannot submit discoveries, edit their profile or start follows. An appeal can be sent to privacy@inspoetry.com. Decisions are recorded privately so that they can be reviewed. A report does not automatically prove a violation or cause removal.
