Delete your account

Start with a signed-in request so we know it comes from you.

Effective 24 October 2026

Manage your data

Request deletion

Sign in to the account request portal, choose Delete account, and confirm your request. The app offers the same signed-in route in Settings → Your data. You do not need to publish your email address or post a public submission.

The portal records a pending request for review. Acknowledgement of a request is not confirmation of deletion. Google and Apple sign-in must be configured before a new user can use this route.

What the request covers

  • Your Inspoetry authentication account and community profile.
  • Your follower/following relationships, private submissions and public contributor attribution/interpretations.
  • Local moderation exports and Qwen review files linked to your submissions, subject to documented legal exceptions.
  • A review of any remaining security, dispute or compliance record that must be retained.

What needs a separate action

Saved quotes, reading preferences and unsent drafts on your device are not remotely erased by an account request. Clear app/browser storage to remove them. Operating-system secure storage or backups can have different lifecycles.

Deleting Inspoetry does not delete your Google, Apple or Spotify account. Disconnect Spotify in Inspoetry and revoke Inspoetry access in your Spotify account if you no longer want that connection. Shared catalogue records and other people's copies of previously public content may remain.

If you cannot sign in
